Annual ANTIQUE POWER & ENGINE SHOW.
Hendricks County Fairgrounds and Conference Center located at 1900
East Main Danville, Indiana 46122. Located 9 miles west of I-465 on
old 36 - Across from Danville Post Office.
Feature for this year's show is HART PARR
OLIVER Tractors. Special guests for the show will be The Oliver Gang
and Donie Fischer Toys.
Many events for the community are scheduled.
Daily events will include a Parade of Power of antique tractors
featuring Hendricks County Antique Tractor & Machinery
Association 1946 Model Z Minneapolis-Moline
and Float, Antique Tractor displays, Flea Market, Toy Show,
entertainment, trivia games, plus demonstrations of antique farming
and the Hendricks County Extension Quilters, Rug Hookers, Wood Carver
Clubs & more. Events for Saturday, Tractor Poker Run, Antique Tractor
Pull, Children’s Pedal Pull, Children’s Pedal Parade. Sunday’s event
to cap off the weekend will be Police & Fire Games sponsored by
Hendricks Regional Health and Car Show . Last minute addition to Show
includes GARDEN TRACTOR PULL on Sunday, June 3rd at the Fairgrounds
Grandstand. The Tri-County Garden Tractor Pullers will have Weigh In
at 11:00 am, Pull starts at 12:00 pm. All Garden Tractor Pullers are
welcomed to be apart of this event!
There will be a
charity fundraiser for Autism Awareness. The Central Indiana Chapter-
Autism Society of America will use the monies received from this event
to create teachers’ training-ships. CIC-ASA will have $50
training-ships for teachers to use to attend conferences related to
Autism to further educate them. With the ratio of 1 in 166 children
being diagnosed on the Autism Spectrum, there is an even greater need
to assist teachers in gaining more knowledge to help their students
and their peers.
W hat a great way to use
this money for our special needs teachers.
Saturday, June 2nd at 10:30 am has been reserved for the Drum Circle.
The Drum Circle will be in Conference Room A at the Hendricks County
4-H Fairgrounds. This will be a great venue to show, the general
public and those touched by Autism the benefits of Drum Circles and
the Photo Club. With Autism Awareness as our charity, we have received
major support from several radio stations, HANK FM and WFMS, who will
broadcasting live on Saturday & Sunday.
